Casa Rita Margs y Miches

At Casa Rita Margs, I spearheaded the development of the brand strategy and identity, creating a cohesive vision that extended across all touchpoints. From menu design, creative assets, and social media presence, I ensured every element reflected the brand’s personality and values.

I designed and executed a comprehensive social media strategy, producing high-quality creative assets, including photography and videography, to engage audiences and elevate brand awareness. These efforts grew the social media following from 700 to 16,000 in just two months, with organic content generating over 11 million views.

In addition to content creation, I built Casa Rita’s website, crafting a digital presence that seamlessly aligned with the brand’s aesthetic. My holistic approach to branding established a strong foundation for long-term growth and recognition, ensuring consistency and creativity throughout the brand’s journey.

My name is Ruben Alvarado and I am the owner of Casa Rita Margaritas to Go.  When I first started Casa Rita, I was a retired corporate executive with little experience in the entrepreneurial small business world.  I knew exactly what I wanted to do and also knew how I wanted to market the business, but I didn't know how to actually do it.

I had the vision, the business model and the operations pieces down.  But I was lacking in the Marketing aspect.  I knew that I wanted my business to be Social Media driven.  I built an Instagrammable building, but I was lacking in the expertise and needed a subject matter expert to drive the marketing

Instead of tapping into some local DFW agency, I tapped Rocio Alvarado for the job.  I admired and loved what she did with her company Wag City Clothing and wanted the same for Casa Rita.  So she began working on social media marketing and brand management.  Her expertise in brand building was exactly what I needed.  She was in charge of all Social Media marketing and reel management for all the major platforms important to Casa Rita.  Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok were all in scope along with ad management for those platforms.

We blew the doors off opening weekend.  We had so many customers the first weekend that we consumed a month's worth of forecasted alcohol in just 2 days.  There have been non-stop customers since then.  Social media marketing was the key component to a successful launch.  I was in the black financially the first month of operation when typically it takes 6 months to break even in this type of business.  But more importantly I had a vision that when tourists came to visit Fort Worth they would have dinner at Joe T Garcias, go to Billy Bob's to dance and go to Casa Rita for a margarita.  Now that vision has become a reality. Social media marketing was the key and Rocio was the driving force behind it as many of our TikToks and reels go viral.   Into the millions of views.
