Wag City Clothing
I founded Wag City, a dog lifestyle brand, to bring innovative and thoughtfully designed products to dogs and their owners. Starting with six SKUs of dog tees, I expanded the line into a full lifestyle brand by leveraging customer feedback and market trends. This growth included launching new categories such as human apparel and accessories, creating a cohesive experience for pets and their owners.
I led every aspect of the business, from designing garments and developing the brand identity to sourcing materials and managing production with a team of pattern makers, graders, and seamstresses. My hands-on approach ensured high-quality products that resonated with customers and stood out in the market.
To establish a strong brand presence, I spearheaded marketing efforts, including photography, social media management, content creation, and trade show planning. I also built and optimized the brand’s website to provide a seamless e-commerce experience. By cultivating strong relationships with buyers, I secured retail placements domestically and internationally, significantly expanding Wag City’s reach and visibility.
This experience gave me a deep understanding of building a business from the ground up, blending creative vision with strategic execution to create a brand that resonated with both consumers and retailers.
